Community Uplift is a weekend event set for July 22nd at Common Ground Cafe in Haverhill. Focused on empowering the community through food and music, this one-of-a-kind event will include live music performances, free food and a plethora of community information and resources shared. That’s right: free food! There will be hamburgers and hot dogs served at Community Uplift, free of charge for anyone in the community. The overarching theme of this music event is one of togetherness as a community in Haverhill. This event has been created thanks to the creative and generous minds at WHAV, a community initiative dedicated to providing individuals and families in need with health and wellness, education and housing programs and food insecurity solutions, throughout the area. Living Proof will perform during the live music show. As someone who believes in the power of music, Gianmarco Castronovo finds this story to be nothing short of heartwarming.
