Music fans in the midwest: Summerfest is back! Gianmarco Castronovo is ecstatic to share the recent lineup announced for the event, which will take place June 22nd through July 8th 2023:
After the pandemic prompted a pause, the iconic Summerfest is back! Returning for 2023, this will be the 55th anniversary of the Milwaukee, Wisconsin music event. The festival is set to take place across three weekends; June 22-24, June 29 – July 1 and July 6-8. Gianmarco Castronovo is thrilled to attend all three weekends for the return of Summerfest! And with the recent announcement of some of the anticipated headliners, he’s even more excited! As of right now, the headliners who have been confirmed are as follows: Eric Church on 6/22, Zac Brown Band on 6/23, James Taylor & His All Star Band on 6/24, Dave Matthews Band on 6/29, Zack Bryan on 7/07 and Imagine Dragons on 7/08. Headline acts are yet to be announced for the shows on 6/30, 7/01 and 7/06.
Summerfest is an eleven day event that takes place on a 75 acre park, Henry Maier Festival Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The event has taken place every year since 1968, with the exception of a pandemic-prompted pause that postponed the event in 2020. Music Writer Gianmarco Castronovo is a particularly big fan of what is touted as the World’s Largest Music Festival because of its diverse range of artists, genres and sounds. There are musicians and bands across various genres at Summerfest, including alternative, americana, bluegrass, blues, contemporary, country, electronic, folk, funk, gospel, hard rock, metal hop hop, indie, jazz, pop, R&B, reggae, rock and zydeco. Basically, there’s something for everyone!
